Train Your Artificial Intelligence with Microworkers with 3 easy steps

Micro workers

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a software that learns from past experiences to make decisions based on what it has learned. AI uses algorithms, data crunching, and other computer processes to essentially mimic human thinking. AI is good at making logical decisions based on previous experiences. Micro-workers are human assistants who can assist artificial intelligence with data annotation tasks. Such as recognizing patterns in images or unearthing anomalies in data sets. When paired together, AI can learn from micro workers, which leads to better productivity. Read on to learn how you can train your artificial intelligence with microworkers.

Step 1: Define the type of AI you want to train

There are a lot of different types of AI, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. By determining which type of AI you want to train, you can choose a data set that aligns with that type of AI, making the training process easier. Below are a few types of AI:

  • Narrow AI: This narrows down the field of artificial intelligence by focusing on a single task. Examples of narrow AI include virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.
  • General AI: This is artificial intelligence that mimics human cognition. General AI can learn and understand concepts, apply reasoning to different situations, and make decisions in new situations. This technology is not quite there yet, however it’s getting closer everyday.
  • Strong AI: Strong AI is human-level artificial intelligence. It’s the kind of AI that many sci-fi novels and movies are based around, and it’s still a long way off.
  • Supervised AI: This form of AI is trained using labelled data. It’s the most common form of AI, most often used for videos, images, and text.

Step 2: Select the data set(s) your AI will use to learn

You can’t train an AI if it doesn’t have data to learn from. Depending on the type of AI you’re training, you may need different types of data sets. For instance, if you are training a supervised AI, you will need a labelled data set that includes both the thing you want your AI to learn about (e.g. the image of a cat) and the information you want it to associate that image with (e.g. “That is a cat”). Similarly, If you are training a general AI, you will need data sets that are large, diverse, and unstructured.

Step 3: Find and train your microworkers

You’ve determined which type of AI you want to train and have chosen a data set, you can start looking for microworkers to train your AI. There are plenty of micro job websites to browse for Microworkers. for your micro jobs. Many of these available micro jobs websites allow you to narrow down the country of the workers. Generally, working with native English speaking countries would cost you a bit extra, however training your AI might worth the cost of the investment.

Summary

Artificial intelligence is a software program that learns from past experiences to make decisions based on what it has learned. Therefore, the AI can be trained to do different things by feeding it the data that it needs to make those decisions. At first, determine what type of AI you want to train. Secondly find micro workers to work with. Finally, train your AI to increase your productivity.
